Upstairs Downstairs is a long-established, family-owned business in Thirsk.

Come and rest your tired feet in the tearooms and let us spoil you with our range of freshly prepared hot and cold food. We bake/cook most items on the premises so you can be sure of the quality of the meals we serve.

Browse the delicatessen, which offers a wide range of regionally produced products, including jams, chutneys, biscuits and cakes. We also stock fresh, locally baked bread and offer a range of quiches, scones and fruit pies, baked on the premises. Don’t forget to check out our tempting choice of European cheeses, meats and pates, or just take-away a sandwich made to order.

Give your day a kick start in our sandwich bar with a range of hot sandwiches and take-away breakfasts. Lunchtime offers an extensive choice of sandwich fillings (all freshly prepared on the premises), along with salad trays and jacket potatoes. In the summer, we have an ice cream counter offering a variety of different Brymor dairy ice creams!
