Description:

The Old Forge Cottage offers a perfect base for touring or just relaxing. It is centrally situated in the small, picturesque village of Stillington, 12 miles from historic York, with easy access also to the Moors, Dales and the East Coast of Yorkshire. The immediate local area is a food-lover’s paradise, offering a wealth of excellent pubs and restaurants, farm shops and local producers.

The single storey accommodation provides a stylish but comfortable, rural hide-away “just for two”. It is attractively furnished throughout in traditional pine, with electric heating in all rooms. The beamed property comprises an open-plan living/dining room, with modern kitchen, and a double bedroom with luxury en-suite shower room with power shower. The cottage enjoys a sunny aspect, with its own private terrace, outdoor furniture and barbecue. Private off-street parking is available immediately outside the cottage. No smoking or pets allowed.
