Stanhow offers easy walking, it is centrally located for the villages, market towns, historic cities and Houses. An ideal location for visiting Herriot Country, the setting of TV's Heartbeat, Captain Cook Country and the Dales and Moors. The local hospitality is great and there's good recreations.
