Platinum Farm is a Grade II 15th century listed Farmhouse. Set in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside it has peace and quiet and uninterrupted views. We remain a working Farm of some 60+ acres rearing both cattle and sheep. The lambs around Easter time are a favourite with both Children and Adults alike.
Set in 60 acres of fell and woodland Platinum Farm is a place where you can relax and unwind. or for those who like the outdoors, many walking trails start close to the farm.
Bed & Breakfast
The main farmhouse is open all year for Bed & Breakfast. The Farmhouse has 5 en suite bedrooms. All rooms have TV, tea and coffee making facilities with a selection of biscuits.
The Cottages
The self catering cottages have been converted from some of the original farm buildings and each has been carefully designed to retain the original character of the farmhouse. The Cottages are comfortable and spacious and each has its own individual charm. Each Cottage has been carefully restored retaining many original features such as exposed Oak Beams, and each has been furnished to a high standard.
All have stunning views and are open throughout the year which allows you to stay and enjoy the best of all four seasons.
All have bed linen and towels provided, with heating included and child cot and high chair available on request. We provide a welcome pack for your arrival.
The Hay Loft Self Catering Cottage (sleeps 2/4)
There is an entrance lobby, a double bedroom and a bathroom with combined bath & shower and WC on the ground floor. On the first floor is a superb open plan living/dining room with kitchen area, high beamed ceilings and panoramic views.
This cottage is centrally heated and has cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, TV, DVD.
The Stables Self Catering Cottage (sleeps 4)
There is an entrance hall which leads into a L-shaped open plan living/dining room with kitchen area and access to the terrace. On the first floor are a double bedroom and a twin bedded room and bathroom with WC.
This cottage is centrally heated and has cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, TV, DVD.
The Barn Self Catering Cottage (sleeps 4/6)

The Forest Self Catering Cottage (sleeps 5/6)
The Forest cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, a twin/double and a single/twin on the ground floor sharing an adjoining shower room. There is an open plan living/dining room with kitchen area on the middle floor. The top floor has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and four poster bed.
This cottage is centrally heated and has cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, TV, DVD.
