The lodge is a very cosy family size bungalow, set in 2 acres of quiet grounds next to Long Acre Bed and Breakfast, just a 10 minute stroll from the quaint market town of Thirsk in the heart of Herriot Country. The 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 single), lounge/dining room, kitchen and bathroom are traditionally furnished to a high standard, with everything for your comfort.

The Studio is a newly built bed-sitting room, again, furnished to a high quality, with bathroom and kitchenette. Both have lovely private gardens and plenty of parking.

Take a stroll, or relax in the pleasant grounds, with picnic table, recreational field and play area for children with swings, slide and sandpit.

The owners keep many rare breeds of poultry, rescue owls and birds of prey, as well as peacocks and pheasants. Fresh free range eggs are always available. It’s an ideal place for animal lovers and families with young children.
