Description:

Landrace Cottage has been beautifully renovated by the owners during 2007 from a derelict piggery into a very comfortable detached two bed roomed cottage fitted to a very high standard throughout, with leather sofas, hand-made furniture in all rooms, under floor heating and a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings.

 

It is situated in the village of Carlton Miniott in a very peaceful location looking out onto open countryside, just two miles from the traditional market town of Thirsk. The local village pub, serving very good food, is just a few minutes walk away.

 

Landrace Cottage is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales, both of which can be reached within half an hour by car, and the beautiful coastal resorts of Whitby and Scarborough are about 1 hours drive.
