White Rose Winter Festival (Ripley Castle)

The event presents a sought after combination of heritage, culture, and hospitality with the very best opera, dance, classical and exciting musical entertainment. The courtyard at Ripley Castle will be transformed into a magical auditorium, with a range of winter treats on offer; a winter bar, festive food and drink outlets and festive cheer throughout! Grassington Dickensian Festival

The first of three seperate days of festivals. Be transported back to the time of Charles Dickens. See the Christmas lights, the village square and the streets transformed into a traditional market, with shopkeepers, villagers and visitors dressed in Victorian costume. Enjoy the musicians, dancers, street entertainers and exhibitions of traditional country crafts. Experience the pleasure of doing your Christmas shopping, exploring our quaint shops, finding presents and curios in an atmosphere unlike any other. Join the torchlight procession around the village with Mary and Joseph, ending with a short carol service in the Square. Come and visit us at the most magical of times - this Christmas! Weekend event. 11am - 12.45pm and 1pm - 2.45pm. A magical Christmas Quest like no other!! Come and meet some of Santa's friends on your way through the woods!!
