The proprietors, Peter and Angela Wood, came to The Black Swan Inn at Thornton-Le-Moor having achieved much success and acclaim in a Northallerton restaurant. They transformed the Black Swan with a complete makeover, which included the addition of Woody’s, a fine a la carte restaurant serving a range of popular homemade favourites and contemporary alternatives.
The friendly atmosphere, quality food and well stocked bar, which includes an extensive wine list and a choice of guest ales, have made the Black Swan Inn a favourite with visitors and locals alike.
The village of Thornton-Le-Moor is ideally situated between the market towns of Thirsk and Northallerton, with easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks.
